Training package for the iNaturalist Zavamaniry Gasy project

by Steve Bachman, Helene Ralimanana, Romer Rabarijaona and Stuart Cable

The Zavamaniry Gasy  Project aims to speed up and enhance the collection of data for plant species in Madagascar. Utilising the iNaturalist  citizen science platform and using smart phones with integrated GPS and cameras, the process of making observations of plants becomes easier and is helping to rapidly document plant diversity in Madagascar as well as support conservation efforts.
